Adopt-a-Planter 2007
Families, individuals, organizations, businesses—everyone is welcome!

Yes, we will be planting flowers on Main Street this year! For the fourth year Carnegie Renaissance will be hosting this popular program to families, individuals, groups and organizations as well as businesses, offering the opportunity to “Adopt A Planter” along Main Street in Carnegie.

Since the program’s beginning in 2004, each year at least 30 individuals, families, organizations and businesses adopt planters, many of them more than one; 14 of those adopting have been with the program since its beginning in 2004. Planters have been named for the business, organization or family, or have been dedicated to the memory of a loved one.

Join us for our fourth year!

2007 COLOR SCHEMES
This year we're going with a colorful mix! We've used color themes in the past three years, but for this year it's mix and match in all the planters.

WHERE WE PURCHASE THE MATERIALS

Everything possible is purchased from a business in Carnegie or nearby, and although everyone gives us a "deal" to help with the program or even donates materials, part of our goal with this is to patronize businesses in our community so that they make some money from the program.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES
The $25.00 adoption fee covers the cost of the materials, and any balance goes into Carnegie Renaissance's account for future programs, such as cooperative advertising, promotion of events and participation in other initiatives around town and All About Carnegie, our community news magazine.
